A little context

Made for the unhurried way home.

Shoreline Notes began as a habit: taking the longer route back after a walk and keeping one photograph from the day. Over time, those quiet detours became a record of the coast in every season.

Looking closely

The journal follows public paths, dune edges and small harbours around the Netherlands. The photographs are made on foot, in available light, with notes written later over a cup of tea. There is no fixed itinerary; weather and curiosity usually decide the next turn.

Each entry is a small invitation to notice what is already there: a tide line, a wind-shaped branch, or the silver colour the sea takes just before dusk.

New notes appear when a walk leaves something worth remembering. There is no publishing schedule to keep.
